The signal chain
Provide original audio files, speaker names, any approved intro or music files, and practical notes about cuts, tone, timing, and delivery.
Selected editing and cleanup work removes agreed mistakes, repeated lines, excessive pauses, and reducible recording distractions while preserving a natural speaking rhythm.
Voices are balanced and processed for clarity. When included in the booked service, descriptions, transcripts, clips, and publication assets are prepared alongside the master files.
Receive the agreed digital deliverables for review. One round of technical revisions is included, after which final MP3/WAV files are delivered or uploaded to the client’s platform when booked.
Before delivery
Each booked deliverable is reviewed against its scope before it leaves the studio. The objective is consistent speech, organized files, and a handoff the client can understand without sorting through an unclear folder.
Cuts are checked for abrupt breaths, clipped words, unintended repeats, and distracting dead space.
Speaker levels and tonal balance are reviewed so conversations remain clear across common listening devices.
Final files are named clearly and exported in the agreed formats, with supporting copy or clips included when ordered.
The delivered package is matched to the selected service, source-duration limit, and client instructions received before work began.
Early project feedback
“I sent two separate tracks and a fairly rough list of cuts. The first edit sounded clean without feeling over-edited, and the pacing still felt like our conversation.”
“One recording had a steady room hum and I expected we would need to redo it. The cleanup made the episode usable, and the remaining limitations were explained clearly.”
“The final folder was easy to work with: sensible file names, finished show notes, and three short clips already organized. My time-coded revision was handled exactly as requested.”
Engineer’s notes / FAQ
Original WAV or AIFF files are preferred when available, ideally as separate unprocessed tracks for each speaker. Original files from remote-recording platforms can also be reviewed. MP3 source files may be usable, but they provide less room for repair.
A standard episode is generally scheduled for delivery within two to three business days after all required files, instructions, and access details are received. Timing is confirmed before work starts and can change for damaged recordings or unusually complex edits.
One technical revision round is included with each listed package. Revision notes should identify exact timecodes and requested changes. New creative direction, replacement source files, or material added after the first delivery may require an updated quote.
No. Noise reduction and restoration depend on the source. Severe clipping, heavy reverberation, missing words, overlapping speech, or aggressive prior processing may not be fully reversible. The aim is meaningful improvement without introducing distracting artifacts.
Yes. Clients must have the necessary permission to use any music, recordings, artwork, trademarks, and other materials they supply. Mireth Audio does not grant licenses for client-provided content.
When publishing support is booked, the client provides authorized access to the applicable hosting account and confirms the final files, episode title, description, artwork, metadata, and publication date. The client remains responsible for account ownership and final editorial approval.
